Notice on Undergraduates’ Textbook Settlement for 2024-2025 Academic Year

Dear all, The settlement of undergraduates’ textbooks for 2024-2025 Academic year is about to start. Students from ZJE/ZJUI (2021-2024) should confirm the textbook settlement information by June 16th. Details are as follows: 1. The Confirmation of Textbook Settlement Please login to the Textbook Management Platform- My Textbook to check personal textbook details. 2. Textbook Settlement 2.1 The Refund of Textbook Processing Time: The remaining cost will be refunded to the personal bank account applied by Zhejiang University from June 17th. Bank Account Requirements: Please associate your bank card with your student ID before June 16th to ensure a successful refund. Please check the binding status of campus card through the "Zhejiang University Campus Card" app. If it displays as the personal bank account applied by ZJU, it means the binding is successful. If not, please follow the following process to bind the bank card (only the Chinese edition App support binding service): “中国银行手机银行(中文版)”-登陆-生活(定位改至“杭州”)-生活缴费-校园卡-浙大一卡通-绑定。 Special Case: If the bank refund is unsuccessful, the library will promptly notify the relevant students to process the refund. Please check your email for notifications. 2.2 The Payment of Arrears For students with outstanding textbook fees, please follow the instructions in the Textbook Management Platform - Student Textbook Fee Payment Module to pay the outstanding fees by June 16th. Notice re Student Textbook Purchase of 2025-2026 Fall-Winter Semester

Dear all, Student textbook purchase of 2025 fall semester is about to start. If you want to order textbooks, please submit your order online and pay the bill in advance. Detailed information is as follows: 1. Ordering time: Jun. 5th, 2025 –Jun. 8th, 2025. Overdue orders and payment will not be accepted. 2. Platform: Textbook Management - Textbook Order – Student’s Textbook Order (See the attachment for the guide) If you are unable to order due to your status, you may ask the librarian for help at the library’s Service Desk or phone 0571-87572299(Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:00). 3. Pre-payment for the textbooks ordered: Please prepay the total cost of the textbooks according to the Textbook Purchasing Platform and upload a screenshot of the transfer. Due to the possible price change, you will probably get part of your payment refunded at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. 4. The textbook order this time is only for institution courses (Language, ideological and political education, physical education, and other public compulsory courses are not included). Students except freshmen in 2025-2026 academic year can choose their own textbooks by voluntary according to the courses they take in the next semester. Textbooks for public compulsory courses will be ordered uniformly by the campus. Please check the textbook of the course with the course instructor or institute academic affair staff. 5. The textbook information provided on the platform is for reference. If there is any change about the textbooks’ edition update or price, those you ordered in the previous stage will still be considered as ordered without further notice. 6. The GIDEON e-books cover a wide range of topics, including individual diseases (or groups of diseases) from countries around the world, pathogens, drugs, and vaccines. The resources include 190 disease-specific books and 7 professional guides on topics such as bioterrorism, epidemics, vaccines, and bacteria. The data is primarily sourced from the health departments of countries around the world, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and relevant peer-reviewed publications.
