ASCE database is the largest civil engineering depository in the world. ASCE e-books are known for their variety of topics and genres. In terms of topic, it includes structural engineering, construction engineering, environmental engineering, geological technology, natural disasters (such as earthquakes and tsunamis), water resources planning and management, and civil engineering career strategies, whose content also involves interdisciplinary knowledge such as chemistry, architecture and computer science.
