[Resource Recommendation] Trial on the British IET E-Books and Engineering Technology Reference Database

Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), formerly known as the British institute of electrical engineers IEE, is a century-old academic Institution, the second largest professional society in the world. IDL (IET Digital Library) is a full-text database published by IET, covering a variety of contents, including IET (formerly IEE) journals, electronic books, conference proceedings and seminars. Notice on the available of Textbook Bookshelf

For the convenience of instructors and students to obtain textbooks, textbook bookshelf has been set up on the first floor of the library. The books are mainly for the undergraduate courses in the campus, including biomedical, engineering, language and other disciplines. Textbooks shelved are all published by world-famous academic presses, including Cengage, Pearson, McGraw-Hill Education etc., which are wildly used by global institutions of higher learning. We’ll continuously improve our service and update the books in time. 1. Location: West side of the Library entrance 2. WeiXue Fair—Special Exhibition of Philosophy in Oxford Handbook

Philosophy is closely related to specific disciplines. They are based on practice and grasp the essence and laws of things through phenomena. We sincerely provide the ‘WeiXue Fair—Special Exhibition of Philosophy in Oxford Handbook’in order to deepen students' understanding of philosophy and science, feel its inner connection as well as improve their interests of learning Philosophy and Oxford Handbook. Oxford Handbook Series take specific subject area as themes, collect authoritative and latest original research articles. The articles included in each handbook are written by top experts in a specific discipline, critically examine the development of the discipline and guide the direction of debate, and lay the foundation for future research. Notice on New Books in Campus Library

The shelving of new books in 2018 has been completed. There are 12,473 new foreign language books in total, covering biology, medicine, computer, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical automation engineering and mathematics, physics, chemistry, literature and other fields. The collection development of library is based on the goals, major setup and discipline construction of Zhejiang University International campus, and we selected books according to the needs of readers at all levels. The new books purchased this time are mainly based on the recommendation of teachers and students in the campus, and the shelving information of the recommended books has been notified to the readers by email. To build a reader-oriented collection system, the selection of books will closely focus on the development of the campus and discipline. You are all welcomed to borrow books in the library!
