“Spring’s Back, Reading’s Blooming”— World Reading Day Serial Activities in 2020

April 23rd, the World Reading Day is coming. In response to the World Reading Day, our library will hold series of events. We warmly welcome all of you to participate. Events are as follows: Event One: "Spring's Back, Farewell 2019." — Reading Your Story with Library in 2019 Library Annual Data Report. Introduction: The 2019 Library Annual Data Report will be released through the library website and the WeChat official account, where you can read the story of you and the library in 2019. Let us recall the memories in 2019 and march towards the year of 2020 to write the story of you and the library continually. Time: Apr.23rd Event Two: "Hello! Spring" Recitation Introduction: Every encounter is the reunion with spring after a long separation. There is always one with vigorousness, leaving us indelible traces in our lives. Along with the spring time, let's join hands to chant our acquaintance, to praise the life, to remember the kindness and wish a peaceful world. Time: Apr.23rd to May.7th Event Three: "You Select! We Collect!" — Online Book Fair Introduction: The Long-awaited book fair has arrived in time. Because of the epidemic situation, book fair is held online this time for you to choose the book you most want. Time: Early May Event Four: "Spring Is the Best Time for Reading" — Sharing the Books You Read during the Anti-coronavirus Period. Introduction: The long-cold winter of epidemic will come to an end. We are touched by the power of life. During the cold winter days, books can give us the strength and confidence of overcoming the epidemic. Is there a book that once inspired you? Is there a passage that once enlightened you? Now you are welcomed to share a book you read during the anti-coronavirus period. Time: Mid to Late May

Information Literacy Training

As time went by the online course has been offered for more than a month, the information literacy training has started as scheduled. Last Friday night, the Library and Information Center invited Lii mengyao, a lecturer from Elsevier, to give a professional online lecture for the students of international campus. The novel lecture form has attracted the attention of many students. The number of people attended was more than 20 in the first few minutes of the lecture.

Reminder for Library Opening Delay and IT Services Arrangement
