Library Opening Hours and Service during the Winter Vacation

Dear all,  According to Notice re the Arrangements during the Winter Vacation on the International Campus, library opening hours and service are arranged as follows: 1. Opening Hours During the winter vacation, the library will open from 8:30-17:00 every Monday to Friday except the Spring Festival Holiday (February 10th to 17th）and reopen as usual from February 25th. 2. Opening 1st and 2nd floor will be open, and café, the corridor between Library and Teaching and Learning Building B and the 3rd floor will be closed. If you want to borrow books with its classification from A to K, please go to the library Information Desk directly. 3. Services Book Circulation: If your book’s due date was after January 19th, it will be extended until January 25th. If not, the due date will not be extended. Yunyue Reading: During the winter vacation, you can still borrow books from Yunyue Reading platform. The returning point of Yunyue Reading will be closed from January 29th to February 24th. If your book’s due date was between January 55th and February 25th, it will be extended to another 41 days. If not, the due date will not be extended. Book Reservation: Book reservation will be suspended from January 19th to February 25th. Device Rental Service: Device Rental Service will be suspended during the winter vacation. E-resources Access: Library website and digital resources will be on service as usual. During the winter vacation, all students, faculty, and staff could visit digital resources of library off campus by RVPN by or by CARSI service. To Appreciate the Wonders, To Communicate with Multi-culture – The 2023 Cultural Carnival Series Activities

To help teachers and students on Campus better understand cultures around the world and promote cultural integration, the library has launched a series of cultural carnival activities named “From Haining to the World” from November to December, 2023. Based on the appreciation for selected World Heritage Sites and the exploration towards Haining culture, a series of activities were organized, such as exhibitions, hand-crafts experience and salons, in order to vividly show the diverse culture, guide teachers and students to explore the beauty of the world landscapes, understand the differences and similarities of different cultures, and cultivate the sense of responsibility to inherit cultural.

Analysis Briefing on International Campus, Zhejiang University: Academic Papers from Web of Science

In order to show the latest scientific research achievements of International Campus, the library collected the academic papers of International Campus, Zhejiang University included in Web of Science Core Collection, which facilitates teachers and students to keep abreast of the latest academic achievements of the campus.

Notice on the Official Opening of the De Gruyter Mathematical Journal （Jointly Established with the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences）

Walter De Gruyter is a comprehensive academic press that publishes more than 400 peer-reviewed journals each year, one third of which are indexed by the SSCI and A&HCI. The Library of Zhejiang University and the School of Mathematical Sciences jointly ordered 22 of these mathematical journals, as detailed in the attachment.
