JoVE Press is the publishing house that publishes the most experimental videos in the field of life science. The IEEE Xplore digital library is a powerful resource for discovery of scientific and technical content published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its publishing partners.​ IEEE Xplore provides web access to more than five million full-text documents from some of the world's most highly-cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.​

Engineering Village is a network database provided by the American Engineering Information Corporation on the Internet, and its core product Engineering Index is well-known in the world. Since the 1990s, with the development of network communication technology, Ei began to provide the database Ei CompendexWeb as the online version of Engineering Index. Meanwhile, the company began to develop new information services based on the Internet. Ei Village released in 1997 was a database integrating Ei CompendexWeb as its core database and engineering information worldwide. Ei CompendexWeb contains not only the data from Ei Compendex since 1969 (2600 types of engineering journals, meeting records and reports annually), but also data from Ei PageOne since 1990 (With an extended range of Ei Compendex, 5600 engineering journals, meeting records and reports annually) 

Emerald was founded in 1967 by scholars from Bradford University Management Center, one of the world's top 100 business schools. From the publication of the only journal to becoming one of the largest publishing houses of management journals in the world, Emerald has been committing to the publication of management, library science, engineering expert review journals, as well as humanities and social sciences books. Elsevier ScienceDirect Database (SD, formerly known as Elsevier Science) is one of the world famous full-text scientific literature databases produced by Elsevier Publishing Group in the Netherlands. Resources on the ScienceDirect platform are divided into four major subject areas: Natural Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical/health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. Including chemical engineering, chemistry, computer science, earth and planetary science, engineering, energy, materials science, mathematics, science and astronomy, agriculture and biology, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology, environmental science, immunology and microscopic study, neuroscience, and oral medicine, nursing and health, pharmacology, toxicology and pharmacology, veterinary science, arts and humanities, business, management and accounting, decision sciences, economics, econometrics and finance, psychology, social sciences, etc. In a simple and intuitive interface, researchers can browse the full text of more than 14 million articles in more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals, dating back to 1823. 

EBSCO was founded in 1944 and has a history of more than seven decades. EBSCO is not only the largest integrated database publisher and journal agent in Asia, but also in the world. It provides international online ordering services and is a technology pioneer among its integrated database peers. EBSCO One-Stop Search provides readers with a convenient one-stop service, through which readers can access all the resources on the EBSCO Ehost platform ordered by the library. The literature covers all disciplines such as science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, astronomy, geography, biology, and economics. ​

Compustat financial and price database is the product of Standard & Poor's, a famous American credit rating company. WRDS platform is the world's leading research data platform and business intelligence tool provided by Wharton data research center for users. Compustat database can be accessed through WRDS (i.e., Wharton platform). The library ordered the following from the Compustat database:  Compustat Global ex North Amercia, Compustat (except North America): provide complete financial data and market data of more than 42,000 companies worldwide (except North America) (in which 26,000 companies include fundamental data, 16,000 companies include market price data, i.e., daily closing price), including active companies and inactive companies (delisted or delisted). It also concludes the basic historical data of listed companies with daily public transactions in more than 80 countries which can be traced back to 20 years before and the price data which can be traced back to 1989. The data is updated monthly. 

The China Economic and Social Big Data Research Platform was originally the China Economic and Social Development Statistical Database. It is a large-scale statistical data database that integrates the functions of statistical data resource integration, data in-depth mining and analysis, and multi-dimensional statistical index quick retrieval. Literature resources cover 32 fields / industries of Chinese economic and social development, including all statistical yearbooks and various statistical data (census data, survey data, compilation of historical statistical data, etc.) at the central, provincial and major prefectural and municipal levels. It also published 6700 progress indicators of the latest economic operation data and 28000 industry operation indicators of the national economy of the National Bureau of Statistics and various ministries and commissions.
