World Reading Day Event “Best selling Best choice” —— WeiXue Bookshelf Update

Do you know what are the best-selling books of the year? Are you curious about what kind of books are the most popular for the readers? The Weixue bookshelf in the library is about to be updated, the library will hold the Best selling Best choice event, nearly 200 different kinds of bestselling books will meet all read’s needs. We hope teachers and students can actively participate in our activities. About Activity Time: May 20th to 25th 9:00 to 19:00 Location: Weixue bookshelf, Library, 1st floor. Participants: All teachers and students About Process * Select books,choose any one of the following ways to participate in a lottery draw. Borrow or buy books: Select books. Hand the books to the staff and fill in the information form about the book. Fill out book recommendation cards: Go to the information desk and get the cards.The participate should recommend a book from the Weixue bookshelf to other readers. Fill out recommendation cards and write recommended reasons. (Readers can also design the cards). * Draw a lottery to have your special gifts. Borrowing Rules 1. Each reader can borrow up to 3 books. 2. Reader can keep 3 books at most in hand within 30 days. If you want to borrow other books, please return the books you borrowed before. 3. The book needs to be returned to the information desk on the first floor of the library. If you have any questions, please feel free to come to our information desk to ask our staff. Welcome to library to select, borrow and recommend books to us.

A Notice on the result of the Second collection event of finding the most beautiful voice of library

The second collection event of finding the most beautiful voice of library held by book information center has come to an end. During the event, both Chinese and foreign teachers and students participated enthusiastically, and the total number of like and listening was 3761. The ranking of the most beautiful voice is based on the number of like and listening. The winners are invited to collect the prizes from the information desk on the first floor of the library from 8:30 to 17:00 on Monday to Friday. Library coffee bar will be open

Dear teachers and students: The library coffee bar has been decorated, Kafelaku coffee is officially entered the international campus. The coffee bar will be open on May 6th (Monday), and the opening hour is 9:30 to 22:30 every day (opening time on holidays will be notified). ‘Like it, Take it’—Chinese Bookfair Successfully Held

To better meet the needs of students and faculty for bestselling and subject-related books, and to expand library collections, Library and Information Center, together with Zhejiang Xinhua Collection Company,held an Chinese Book Fair on Campus from the World Reading Day(April 23rd),based on the Yunyue Reading Platform. About 3,000 Chinese books were displayed, which are either Douban bestselling or subject-related books. The book fair was welcomed by all teachers and students, about 175 teachers and students recommended around 300 books. Compared with other book fair, it is somewhat different in two aspects: On the one hand, it is very convenient for readers to recommend and to borrow books by simply scanning their personal information QR code based on the Yueyue Reading Platform. On the other hand, the lottery and message board make the whole process more interesting. Before the message board, some of them sign their names, feel very happy when get a big prize, others express their love of library, or choose a sentence from the 4th lines in 23rd page of the borrowed books and write it in the message board. It is not merely a book fair to know readers’ needs, but also a promotion of library service. Throughout the platform, readers can recommend and borrow books they want, while library can know their need better to build the reader-oriented library collection.
