Image

2026, the Library takes "Civilization Exchanges,Global Tour" as its annual theme and carefully organizes a series of rich cultural exhibitions and activities, aiming to build a bridge for cultural exchange and enable teachers and students to broaden their horizons and enhance understanding through the collision of diverse cultures.

As the first exhibition of this themed tour, " An Interpretation of Classical Reading Scenes in Chinese Art Trough the Ages " takes us back to the Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. With paintings and calligraphy as the medium, we can understand the way of reading; with classics as the mirror, we can pass on the soul of culture. Let's see how the reading scenes in ancient paintings interpret the endless inheritance of Chinese civilization from an elegant perspective.

Selected from existing ancient paintings, this exhibition displays and interprets about 30 classic reading scenes, vividly inheriting and promoting China's profound and exquisite painting and calligraphy art and reading culture. It brings us double edification of beauty and scholarly atmosphere, attracts us to appreciate classical art, approach traditional culture, and awakens our interest and confidence in loving reading and valuing learning.
