You Select, We Collect - 2025 Library Chinese Book Fair Successfully Concludes

As autumn deepens, the fragrance of books becomes more intense. When the call of "You Select, We Collect" resounds once again, a reading feast curated by readers themselves warmly begins amidst the autumn scenery of Jiangnan. In October 2025, the library, through both online and offline channels, transformed the book fair into a mutual journey of knowledge and demand, with each new book in the collection carrying the readers' genuine expectations.

Dual Online and Offline Channels, Expanding Recommendation Avenues

This book fair continued and optimized the combination of online and offline modes, maximizing convenience for faculty and students to participate.

The online recommendation event lasted four days from October 13 to 16, 2025. The platform aggregated over 600 renowned publishing suppliers, offering more than 400,000 selected book titles for faculty and students to recommend. Nearly 50 faculty and students from the campus participated in this online book fair, recommending over 2,000 book titles.

The offline on-site recommendation took place on October 15, 2025, at the Shaoxing International Convention Center. The library organized 11 faculty and students, including graduate students, doctoral students, and staff from various colleges, to attend the event in person. In the exhibition area, large publishing groups and themed pavilions were orderly displayed, and the latest published books attracted great interest from the faculty and students. They engaged in face-to-face exchanges with publishers' representatives, gaining insights into the latest publishing trends. After hours of careful selection, they recommended over a thousand high-quality new books based on professional needs and personal interests.
