The Fun Research Global Scientific Project Database intelligence service system is based on a big data foundation of the Global Scientific Project Database, Scientific Project Application Information Database, Corporate Science and Technology Needs Database, and Scientific Research Output Database. It provides big data intelligence services for scientific workers and learners from the perspective of scientific projects through systems such as the Global Scientific Project Integrated Search System, Scientific Research Achievement Association System, Global Scientific Project Interactive Analysis System, and Customized Fund Retrieval and Analysis System. The database collects data from more than 20 technologically advanced countries and regions around the world, over 1000 scientific funding agencies, and more than 8 million funded scientific project data. It can be traced back to the 1950s and covers disciplines including science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, arts, philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, and history.

The library has subscribed to the Fun Research Global Scientific Project Database (Full Version), which includes the following 12 sub-databases:

  1. Global Scientific Project Database: Collects data on more than 10 million funded scientific projects and over 30 million scientific research achievement (output) links from more than 20 technologically advanced countries and regions worldwide. The project and achievement association data can be traced back to the 1950s, covering all disciplines, with multiple mainstream languages supported, online machine translation, real-time dynamic updates, ensuring the latest scientific project data.

  2. Scientific Project Application Information Database: Dynamically collects the latest funding intelligence, allows customization of viewing areas, and provides a customized entry for scientific research managers to discover the application information needed by their institutions.

  3. Corporate Science and Technology Needs Database: Identifies opportunities for scientific research results transformation in line with market and industry needs, and opens a self-service function for corporate needs to the public.

  4. Global Literature Service System: Provides original document delivery services for domestic and foreign literature monograph, with timely response.

  5. Awards and Competitions Application Information Database: Offers award application selection and competition notices from various regions across the country.

  6. Global Scientific Project Interactive Analysis System: Seamlessly connects to the Global Scientific Project Search System, based on global scientific project data, providing interactive analysis support for three dimensions and complex benchmarking, with visual display of analysis results and support for exporting in formats such as charts.

  7. Talent and Expert Application Information Database and Talent and Expert Database: Collects talent selection and evaluation notices from various regions across the country, past publicized fund review experts, technology expert database experts, and other scientific and technological talents. The National Natural Science Foundation and National Social Science Fund expert databases are displayed separately. After the application code is determined, scientific knowledge graph technology is used to profile experts and recommend experts to users; recommendations can be made based on the application topic, keywords; in cases where there is an expert list, the unit where the expert is located, the field of expertise can be extracted, and the user can prepare the expert list themselves or analyze and extract it from the Awards and Competitions Database, Talent and Expert Database.

  8. Scientific Project Customized Retrieval System: Currently supports customized retrieval for the National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation, and National Key R&D Program, providing a quick search entry and supporting customized analysis such as commonly used disciplines, research fields, etc.

  9. Awards and Competitions Database: Provides a list of winners and winning results of publicly announced science and technology awards from various provinces and cities across the country, supporting keyword searches such as award names.

  10. Global Scientific Project Guide Database: Collects project guides that lead the trend and direction of scientific funding in technologically advanced countries worldwide, providing the remaining 5% of leading scientific intelligence.

  11. Data Export Service System: Supports the export of search results (including projects and achievements) from the Global Scientific Project Database in excel spreadsheets, with customizable export fields.

  12. Scientific Research Tool System: Recommends the most suitable application codes for the National Natural Science Foundation, allowing users to view and compare various data such as the winning rates of different codes over the past five years to assist in decision-making. Provides a comparison table of the names of National Natural Science Foundation codes over the years, understanding the historical changes in the meaning of application codes, and also viewing analysis data such as the winning rates of application codes.
