Academic Video Online (AVON) integrates video programmes from hundreds of publishers including PBS, Arthaus, CBS, Kino International, Documentary Educational Resources and others. Video genres include newsreels, award-winning documentaries, study tours, interviews, lectures, training videos, and exclusive original footage. There are currently 31,000 videos in the collection, totalling over 12,000 hours. Topic areas cover architecture and art, counselling and psychotherapy, health and health care, health and society, and more. The content is accompanied by a full title list and indexing information, with English subtitles for full-text searching.
