WeiXue Fair—Special Exhibition of Philosophy in Oxford Handbook

Philosophy (from Greek φιλοσοφία, philosophia, literally "love of wisdom ") is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is closely related to specific disciplines. They are based on practice and grasp the essence and laws of things through phenomena.

 

We sincerely provide the ‘WeiXue Fair—Special Exhibition of Philosophy in Oxford Handbook’in order to deepen students' understanding of philosophy and science, feel its inner connection as well as improve their interests of learning Philosophy and Oxford Handbook. Oxford Handbook Series take specific subject area as themes, collect authoritative and latest original research articles. The articles included in each handbook are written by top experts in a specific discipline, critically examine the development of the discipline and guide the direction of debate, and lay the foundation for future research.

 

We select ten Oxford Handbooks of philosophy to provide their introduction and recommended reading content this time, including The Oxford Handbook of Phyilosophy of Biology, The Oxford Handbook of Philosophy of Science, The Oxford Handbook of Philosophy of Language and so on. We expect you to come!

 

In the future, WeiXue Fair will provide several exhibitions of books in specific theme irregularly. Each exhibition will select some thoughtful and informative books to meet readers’ demands.
