April 23rd, the World Reading Day is coming in the vibrant spring. In response to the World Reading Day, our library will hold a series of events. We warmly welcome all of you to participate in.
Events are as follows:
Event 1. You Select, We Collect! English Book Fair
English book fair will showcase the latest books published by world-renowned publishers, including Wiley, Elsevier, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.. More than 5,000 titles will be on display and they are all closely related to the disciplines at International Campus, including Biology, Medicine, Engineering, Literature etc..
Time: April 9th to 11th 9:00~19:00 (Tuesday to Thursday)
Location: Library Atrium, 1st Floor
Participation: Come along and recommend books, you can borrow new books right away (each reader can borrow 3 books in the fair, the loan period is 30 days); If you are not available on these days, you can also highlight the booklist and send back to library mailbox library@intl.zju.edu.cn

Event 2. Library Discovery
For increasing readers' familiarity with the Chinese Library Classification by letting readers search for a specific letter or character in the book according to the call number. Gifts are waiting for you!
Time: April 18th to 22nd
Location: Library Information Desk, 1st Floor
Event 3. Library Beautiful Voices
Reading turns words into warm sounds and shows the inherent power of the words. library will carry out the most beautiful voice by organizing a voting event. Readers can submit a 3-5 mins record to join the competition. Winners will get delicate gifts.
Time: Apr. 23rd – 27th for collecting voices
Participation: Follow the iLINK Wechat official account and submit online
Reading Material: Classic literature (English or Chinese)
Event 4. "Like it? Take it!"– Yunyue Reading event (Chinese book fair)
Over 3,000 best selling Chinese books are waiting for you during the Yunyue Reading event. All teachers and students in campus can borrow new books and take them with you directly.
Time: April 23rd—25th
Location: Library Atrium, 1st Floor
Event platform: Yunyue Reading platform of Zhejiang University
Event 5. Beautiful Moment of Library——Photo Contest
We will collect excellent photographic works from all readers in the campus. Readers can submit works from any angle with unlimited style, including people, objects and sceneries.
Time: May 5th to 15th for collecting photos
Participation: Send photos to library mailbox library@intl.zju.edu.cn
Event 6. Best Selling, Best Choice! ——WeiXue Bookshelf Updated
Best Selling, Best Choice! Come and feel the charm of the freshest and best-selling English books in WeiXue Bookshelf~ Readers who borrow or buy books will have opportunities to receive exquisite gifts.
Time: May 20th to 25th
