Reading is a magnificent journey of the soul. There is great beauty in heaven and earth without words. Only reading allows you to discover, at any time

the famous mountains and rivers, monuments and scenic spots, forests and valleys, and exotic flowers. The annual World Book Day is coming. Let's go and start this wonderful journey.

 

Event 1:

You Select, We Collect — English Book Fair

Time: May 14th - May 16th

Location: Atrium on the first floor of the library

Introduction: The English book fair is coming again and brings you the most fresh and innovative reading feast. Come and select your favorite books. And enjoy the charm of the English books.

 

Event 2:

The Beauty of Science — Nature Cover & Story Exhibition

Time: Apr. 23rd – May 20th

Location: Corridor on the second floor of the library

Introduction: There is a world in a sand. There is a heaven in a flower. Holding the truth in the palm of your hand. The moment of time is eternity. The beauty of science is hidden behind every cover of Nature. Please come with us and enter the story behind the covers.

 

Event 3:

Listen to the Seasons — Living Library: Vinyl Appreciation

Time: Apr. 23rd

Location: Multi-functional Room

Introduction: If there is a musical medium that has traveled through the centuries and is still alive and popular in modern times. The medium is undoubtedly vinyl records. The time flies quickly, just like the passing clouds. Only the classics can still play in years.

 

Event 4:

Explore the Thoughts - Journal Academic Lectures

Time: May 12th & May 14th

Location: Multi-functional Room

Introduction: Paper writing and submitting are two difficult tasks for every academic researcher. The Library has invited journal editors from Wiley and Elsevier to help with the "pain points" of paper writing and submitting for all fresh researchers.

 

Event 5:

#Line4, Page23 — Recommend Your Book at Hands

Time: May 6th – May 20th

Location: Corridor on the second floor of the library

Online Participation: LIC WeChat Official Account

Introduction: There is a heaven on earth, which cannot be reached, but is attractive. Use what you feel in life to read, and use what you get from reading to live. Could you please open the book at your hand and write down the sentence on page 23, line 4? Share with us a story where your heart is desire? Each of your reading stories will become a scenery of the library.

 

Event 6:

Seeking the Truth & Dedicated to the Centennial — Party History Book Exhibition

TimeFirst half of May

Location: The first floor of the library

Introduction: It has been a hundred years since we stepped on the journey through difficulties. The journey is magnificent, and the original heart lasts forever. Let's follow the footsteps of the giants and witness how the history of the Party has been written from yesterday to today, and then to a glorious tomorrow.
