As of December 2, the shelving of first batch of new foreign language & Chinese books for the Fall-Winter Semester of 2022-2023 has been completed. The total number of new arrived foreign language books on the shelves is 1638, Chinese books is 1083, majority of which are professional academic books related to biomedical, computer, civil engineering and other campus disciplines, also include Wenjin Award-winning books, popular books and other outstanding works in humanities and social sciences.
At present, some of the new books in foreign languages are placed at the Library Atrium, while the rest of the books in Chinese and foreign languages are placed in the Book Stacks area on the second and third floors of the Library according to their categories for general loan; the books in the Special Collection are placed in the Special Collection Room on the second floor of the Library for indoor reading. The library collection is built around the development of campus and disciplines, and books are selected according to the needs of readers at all levels, to build a reader-oriented collection system. You are welcomed to borrow and recommend books!
