Library came out WeiXue Salon—living activity to meet readers’ cultural requirements. The first salon was held successfully in the library multifunction room in November 20th.
The first living book was Dr. Huang yili, who comes from Environmental and Resource Science Institution in Zhejiang University.

Dr. Huang guided audiences to explore the microbial planet, and told them stories about soil microbes to intelligent microbes from the chalk cliffs to the earth.
Many biomedicine students were inspired by the sharing from Dr. Huang and keep questioning to her in the interactive reading section.

Dr. Huang not only communicated the relevant knowledge of the subject, but also shared some experiences of the researching in micro-organism studies. Furthermore, she gave some pertinent suggestion of researching. All students who participated the salon had a clearer understanding of the learning and researching. At the end of the activity, all participants received a personal living library certificate that can register for borrowing living books!
