It's the season of freshmen again. In order to help freshmen, adapt to campus life as soon as possible and quickly get to know services and resource of the library, welcome activities were held in library from August 20 to September 30.
Before their arrivals, we create a strong atmosphere for welcoming new students.

At the orientational education, Miss Librarian gave an lecture of a brief of the library, space service, resource access, lectures and activities for all freshmen.

The welcome activities include a quiz of library, "Treasure Hunt" activity, and a book exhbition for freshmen. More than 100 freshmen actively participated in online and offline activities, and 57% of the books in the exhibition have been borrowed.

Students completing all tasks of "Treasure Hunt" activity got a drifted bottle left by the seniors of the graduated students with their encouragements and blessings.

Learn from practice, theory to practice, new skills were unlocked on how to use library resources in exploration, and freshmen began to understand their own majors and other professional fields of Zhejiang University in reading. In addition to create a diversified and interesting oritational activities, we will further explore more resource recommendation methods for students to use library resources better.
