Database Systems: Design, Implementation, & Management

Title: Database Systems: Design, Implementation, & Management Author: Carlos Coronel, Steven Morris Press: Cengage Learning ISBN: 9781337627900 Edition: 13th Introduction: Database skills are among the most in-demand IT skills today. Now you can gain a solid foundation in database design and implementation with the practical, easy-to-understand approach in the market-leading DATABASE SYSTEMS: DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION, AND MANAGEMENT, 13E. Diagrams, illustrations, and tables clarify in-depth coverage of database design. You learn the key to successful database implementation as you study how to properly design databases to fit within the larger strategic data environment. Clear, straightforward writing supports an outstanding balance of theory and practice with hands-on skills today’s employers want. Revised SQL coverage offers more SQL examples and simpler explanations that focus on the areas most important for a database career. More coverage of Big Data Analytics and NoSQL, including related Hadoop technologies, now provides a stronger hands-on approach. Six ideas that shaped physics

Title: Six ideas that shaped physics Author: Moore, Thomas A. Press: ISBN: 9787111526247 Edition: 2nd Introduction: Six Ideas that Shaped Physics is comprised of six units, providing a unique approach to a two- or three-semester calculus-based introductory physics course. The text is designed to teach students to apply basic physical principles to realistic situations, and to resolve contradictions between their preconceived notions and the laws of physics. Through integrated practice, students learn to solve realistic problems, and organize the ideas of physics into an integrated hierarchy. The six units are: Unit C: Conservation laws constrain interactions Unit N: The laws of physics are universal (Newtonian mechanics) Unit R: The laws of physics are frame-independent (Relativity) Unit E: Electricity and magnetism are unified Unit Q: Matter behaves like waves (Quantum physics) Unit T: Some processes are irreversible (Thermal physics) Available Online:/ Available in Print: Location: International Campus Library Call Number: O4/LM7-2/3 Institute: ZJUI  Major: EE/ECE/ME Course ID: PHYS 214 Course Title: Univ Physics: Quantum Physics
