Notice of Student Textbook Collection

Dear all, Textbooks will be distributed on Sep. 6th. Please collect textbooks at the library with your student ID card. Specific arrangements are as follows: 1、For ZJE & ZJUI Freshmen Location: Library Multi-function Room, 1st Floor Time: ZJUI: 9:00-11:00 ZJE: 14:00-16:00 2、For ZJE & ZJUI Sophomore, Junior and Senior students Location: Library Service Desk, 1st Floor Time: 9:00-16:00 The textbook fee will be charged at the end of the academic year. Student Textbook Purchase of 2019-2020 Fall-Winter Semester

Dear all: Student textbook purchase of 2019-2020 fall-winter semester is about to start. This time you need to order textbooks online through PeopleSoft, hereby inform you of the following matters: 1. Purchase time: 0:00am, June 15th, 2019 – 24:00pm, June 17th, 2019. Overdue order will not be accepted. If you miss the order time, please purchase by yourself. 2. Purchase platform: PeopleSoft. (See the attachment for the purchase guide) 3. The textbook order this time is only for institution course (Does not contain language, ideological and political education, sports and other public compulsory course). Textbooks for freshmen will be ordered uniformly by the campus, the rest of students will choose their own textbooks by voluntary according to the courses they take in the next semester. 4. The textbook information provided by PeopleSoft is for reference. If there is any change about edition update or price, those selected in the early stage will still be considered as ordering without further notice. 5. After confirming the order of textbooks, it is not permitted to return or replace except quality problems. Please order carefully. Library and IT Services Opening Hours during Summer Vacation

Dear all, According to “Notice on the arrangement of matters relating to the summer vacation in 2019” issued by International Campus, ZJU, Library and IT Services opening hours and service are arranged as follows: 1. Library: 1）Opening Hours： During Summer Vacation (from July 17th to Sep. 2nd), library and Cafe will open every Monday to Friday from June 17th to June 30th, October 17th and October 18th. In other dates, it will be closed and reopen on Semptember 3rd. When library is open, opening hour is from 8:30am to 17:00pm, and the hotline is 0571-87572288. When library is closed, consultation service will still be provided at Learning & Teaching Building B-226 from 9:00am-12:00am, 14:00pm-16：30pm every Monday to Friday. Hotline: 0571-87572723 Library web (http://lib.intl.zju.edu.cn) and digital resources will be on service. 2） Service： During the summer vacation, Inter-library Loan Service, Weixue Shelf, Weixue Lecture, and Device Rental Service will suspect. Please return your borrowed device before June 17th. If the book you borrowed from Weixue Shelf is overdue after June 17th, you can return it at the first week in next semester. Books overdue after July 5th can be return in next semester, for those overdue before July 5th, please remember to renew them in Library website-MyLibrary. Borrowed books from Yunyue Reading Platform overdue after July 1st can be return in next semester, while those overdue before July 1st can be renewed in the Yunyue Reading platform. 2. IT Services: During Summer Vacation (from July 17th to Sep. 2nd), IT services hotline (0571-87572669) will still provide service as usual. IT helpdesk will open from 8:30am-17:30pm everyday, at Learning & Teaching Building B109. From September 3rd, the IT helpdesk will be back to the official working place at 1st floor of the library. 3. Visit Campus Resources and Library Digital Resources: During Summer Vacation, all students, faculty and staffs could login to SSLVPN service by INTL ID to visit campus resources and Zhejiang University library digital resources off campus. Library and IT Services Opening Hours during Dragon Boat Festival

Dear all, According to the notice “Announcement on National Holiday for Spring-Summer Semester 2019”issued by International Campus, ZJU, library and IT services opening hours are arranged as follows: On June 7th, the library will be closed while the café will open from 9:30-17:00. From June 8th to June 9th, library and café will open as usual. E-resources are still assessible in our library website （http://lib.intl.zju.edu.cn/）. During the library closing time, IT Helpdesk will remain open at 1st floor of library (IT Helpdesk open on June 7th while Library is not on service), the working hour is between 8:30-17:30. World Reading Day Event “Best selling Best choice” —— WeiXue Bookshelf Update

Do you know what are the best-selling books of the year? Are you curious about what kind of books are the most popular for the readers? The Weixue bookshelf in the library is about to be updated, the library will hold the Best selling Best choice event, nearly 200 different kinds of bestselling books will meet all read’s needs. We hope teachers and students can actively participate in our activities. About Activity Time: May 20th to 25th 9:00 to 19:00 Location: Weixue bookshelf, Library, 1st floor. Participants: All teachers and students About Process * Select books，choose any one of the following ways to participate in a lottery draw. Borrow or buy books: Select books. Hand the books to the staff and fill in the information form about the book. Fill out book recommendation cards: Go to the information desk and get the cards.The participate should recommend a book from the Weixue bookshelf to other readers. Fill out recommendation cards and write recommended reasons. (Readers can also design the cards). * Draw a lottery to have your special gifts. Borrowing Rules 1. Each reader can borrow up to 3 books. 2. Reader can keep 3 books at most in hand within 30 days. If you want to borrow other books, please return the books you borrowed before. 3. The book needs to be returned to the information desk on the first floor of the library. If you have any questions, please feel free to come to our information desk to ask our staff.
