Henry Stewart Talks(HST for short)-The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection is a database which covers biomedical science and life sciences speech videos. So far the database has amounted to more than 100 series and 2000 videos which can help researchers understand the latest progress quickly. International scholars including Nobel laureates are invited to share domain expertise. The videos are combined tightly with graduate courses and offer more comprehensive Domain Knowledge with high quality picture and lecture notes.

China from Empire to Republic: Missionary, Sinology and Literary Periodicals is a collection of 17 English-language periodicals published in or about China during a period of over 130 years, extending from 1817 until the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. This corresponds to the periods of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republican Era (1911-1949), when China experienced the radical and often traumatic transformation from an inward-looking imperial dynasty into a globally engaged republic.

One Belt One Road Reference Source Starts on Trial

One Belt One Road Reference Source is a database which matches the policy of One Belt One Road and presented by EBSCO. The theme of the reference source covers more than 70 kinds of research sources, including 65 countries’ trade, commerce, management, investment, engineering construction, architecture, literature, art,humanities research, geography, military history, politics science, environment engineering, global communication domain learning and traffic, etc.

On Dec. 2nd 3:30—4:30 p.m., 11 students of International Campus participated in the online lecture ‘Engineering Information Retrieval’ presented by Professor Li Yi. The lecture focused on Computer Science; took cases to introduce engineering literature retrieval and access method, including how to choose search terms, select databases and high quality literature, etc.

Foreign Office Files for China, 1919-1980 Starts on Trial

The British academic press of Adam Matthew was established in 1990 with distinguished reputation of collection of original manual, rare books, and other authentic materials. The press has published over 500 programs with cooperation with Europe ,North American, Africa, Australia.The trail period of service of “Foreign Office Files for China, 1919-1980” is available to all students and staff now. The information source comes from British National Archive Museum with support archive of FO371 and FCO021. The documents consistof various types such as urgent diplomatic correspondence, communication, map,case of court, leader biography, historic events and so forth, based on British diploma. It recorded the evolution of China, including Hongkong, Taiwan in the 20 century. The database supports keywords search and copies of original manual.
