Notice on New Books in International Campus Library

The shelving of the second batch of new English books for the spring and summer academic semester of 2020-2021 has been completed. The total number of foreign language books newly on the shelves is 1336 (detailed list is attached), which covers the range from biomedical, economics, computer, to civil engineering, mechanical, literature and other disciplines. At present, all the books are placed at the atrium on the first floor of the library and ready to be lent. Notice of Library and IT Service Opening Hours during the Dragon Boat Festival

Dear all, According to the Notice of the President’s Office of Zhejiang University on Arrangements of Some Holidays in 2021 issued by ZJU, combined with the actual situation of the International Campus, library and IT service opening hours during the Dragon Boat Festival are arranged as follows: 1. Dear all: Student textbook purchase of 2021 fall semester is about to start. If you want to order textbooks, please submit your order online through PeopleSoft and pay the bill in advance. “TO READ, TO THINK, TO DO” —World Book Reading Day Serial Activities Wear Successfully Held

April 23rd, 2021 was the 26th World Book Reading Day. In order to appreciate the beauty of classics, thinking and wisdom through different forms of reading, Library held the World Book Reading Day Serial Activities from April 23 to May 20, which led readers to experience the interests of reading from multiple dimensions through sight and hearing. On the evening of April 23rd, WeiXue Salon:Living Library—Listen to The Seasons:Vinyl Appreciation was warmly welcomed. In the warm but hazy atmosphere, readers gathered together and listened to the living book, Liu Liguang telling the story of vinyl. 1622600066707172.jpg Living Library On-site At the same time, Nature Cover & Story Exhibition at the corridor on the second floor of library also lifted its mystery. On May 14th, Dr. Bai Cong introduced the use of ScienceDirect full-text database. [Resource Recommendation] Notice on the official opening of Nature academic journal-Academic Journal

Academic resource map (ARM) is a multi-dimensional electronic resource navigation system based on subject clustering and data-driven, including Chinese and foreign journals, foreign books, dissertations and other types of electronic resources, which can realize subject oriented academic resource aggregation and navigation. Related resources are associated with the full-text resources that our school has ordered, which can achieve convenient full-text access. At present, it has collected more than 130000 foreign periodicals, more than 1.5 million foreign books, more than 20000 Chinese periodicals and some other resources. In addition, the map of academic resources aggregates the data of articles, downloads and citations of our university, which is convenient for users to find important academic resources of specific disciplines and understand the academic influence and contribution of relevant academic achievements.
