Web of Science

The Web of Science database contains more than 12000 authoritative and influential academic journals in the world which can be traced back to 1900 and covering natural science, engineering, biomedical science, social science, art and humanities, etc. The core collection of Web of Science contains references cited in papers and makes a unique citation index according to the cited author, origin and publishing age.  

Springer Link

Springer-Verlag is a leading technology publishing group in the world, providing its academic journals and electronic books online through Springer Link platform. The following items ordered by the library are available on the Springer Link search platform:  1. Journals  2. Adis Pharmaceutical Journal  3. Kluwer journals  4. RLoS Journal (Online Journal of Russian Science)  5. e-books  In addition to the above, the library has ordered the following:  1.Springer Materials  2.Springer Protocols 

Scopus

Scopus is a daily updated database of peer-reviewed abstracts-indexed academic papers from all disciplines (more comprehensively included in the fields of medicine, social sciences and Life Sciences). The bibliographic index covers journal articles, conference papers, books, and patents. Citations in 2016 date back to 1970. 

SciFinder

SciFinder is produced by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) under the American Chemical Society (ACS). When CAS was founded in 1907, the product was the paper "Chemical Abstracts". In 1995, it began to provide scientific researchers with an online access database platform: SciFinder. In terms of content, in addition to the complete coverage of all paper "Chemical Abstracts", SciFinder also includes substance databases, chemical reaction databases, chemical online, and compound compliance control information. In terms of function, SciFinder provides multiple retrieval methods and multiple post-processing functions. 

PubMed

PubMed is a web-based medical literature search system developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information of the U.S. National Library of Medicine. With powerful search and linking capabilities, PubMed is the world's most utilized free online database for finding medical literature. It contains abstracts and partial full texts of more than 4,600 important biomedical journals from over 70 countries and regions around the world, of which more than 80% have English abstracts or links to full text, and about 5% can be viewed for free. PubMed includes MEDLINE, PREMEDLINE and literature databases provided directly by publishers. The records in the PREMEDLINE database are marked with "PubMed-in process", which is a database composed of literature records that are being processed; the literature records provided directly by the publisher are marked with "PubMed-as Supplied by Publisher", and they transmitte records to PREMEDLINE every day. Once included in PreMEDLINE, they will be marked as "PubMed-in process" and transferred to MEDLINE after being indexed. 

ProQuest

The ProQuest search platform is a product of the ProQuest Information and Learning company which databases covering a wide range of fields such as business management, social and human sciences, science and technology, finance and taxation, and medicine. PQDT

Ovid

The Ovid search platform is provided by Ovid Technologies INC., which was founded in 1984 and acquired by Wolters Kluwer in November 1998, becoming a subsidiary of Kluwer. The platform provides users with a consistent search interface for bibliographic and abstract databases from many different sources. It contains more than 300 databases on humanities, social sciences, and science, including MEDLINE. All databases are connected through a CERNET dedicated line. The following items ordered by the library can be accessed on the Ovid search platform:  Books, which offers CABI e-books and reference books as well as LWW medical e-books.  Zhejiang University Full-text Journals (LWW Journals).  CAB Abstracts + Full Text is a collection of abstracts from more than 14,000 consecutive publications, scientific reports, books, conference papers, etc. published in more than 70 languages in more than 130 countries and regions around the world. Collection year: 1973-.  BIOSIS Previews(1994-2011) 

New England Journal of Medicine

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) is the world's most widely covered and influential medical journal. Its peer-reviewed original articles target doctors and people interested in medical practice and are widely cited in various medical journals. The journal section includes clinical medical imagery, review articles, editorials, newsletters, and case records at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). NEJM has an influence factor of 72.406, which is one of the highest in the world.   The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) has access to its current content through Ovid.  The journal on Ovid offers landmark research, clinical insights, and medical breakthroughs in more than 125 areas. NEJM manuscripts are evaluated through an extremely rigorous peer review and editorial process to ensure scientific accuracy, novelty, and importance.
