ClinicalKey is a clinical solution provided by Elsevier, covering 12 types of resources such as books, journals, evidence-based, videos, images, drug monographs, diagnosis and treatment guides, clinical trials, and MEDLINE. Among them, there are more than 760 full-text journals, including the Lancet series and European Urology series; More than 1,000 kinds of medical electronic books; More than 30,000 medical videos, covering internal, external, women, children and other medical specialties and teaching, experimental videos. Note: Google Chrome, Micro Edge and other browsers are recommended for access.

Library Receives Book Donation from the U.S. Green Building Council

On June 4, 2024, the day before the World Environment Day, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) visited the Campus Library and donated five copies of the book "Greening Buildings Actions in the Context of Dual Carbon: LEED in China" to the Library. Mr. Du Risheng, Managing Director of USGBC North Asia, and Ms. Wang Jing, Vice President of USGBC North Asia, attended the donation ceremony. Ms. Qu Lijuan, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the International Campus, and Mr. Chen Guogang, Executive Director of the International Campus Library, attended the donation ceremony and accepted the donation.

From Chivalry to Exquisite Literature -- Series of Events Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Jin Yong's Birth Successfully Held

2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Jin Yong. To celebrate the 100th anniversary and pay tribute to the 147th anniversary of Zhejiang University, the library held a series of activities, bringing the martial world depicted in Jin Yong's works and his legendary life story to the International Campus. On May 21, the "Commemorative Exhibition for the 100th Anniversary of Mr. Jin Yong's Birth" was held in the library’s atrium. The exhibition showcased the precious historical photos, including those from Mr. Jin Yong's youth, his time in his hometown of Haining, at Zhejiang University, in Hangzhou and other regions. These images not only recorded Mr. Jin Yong's life experiences but also perfectly displayed his literary and academic achievement. The exhibition has attracted numerous readers to view and perceive the indomitability, courage, and strong patriotism for the country behind Mr. Jin Yong's martial world.

The 2024 World Book Reading Day Serial Activities were Successfully Held

Notice of Student Textbook Purchase of 2024-2025 Fall-Winter Semester

Dear all, Student textbook purchase of 2024 fall semester is about to start. If you want to order textbooks, please submit your order online and pay the bill in advance. Detailed information is as follows: 1. Ordering time: May 23rd, 2024 –May 26th, 2024. Overdue orders and payment will not be accepted. 2. Platform: INTL Campus Library- Learning& Research Support-Textbook Service (See the attachment for the guide) If you are unable to order due to your status, you may ask the librarian for help at the Service Desk of the library or phone 0571-87572299(Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:00). 3. Pre-payment for ordered textbooks: Please prepay the total cost of the textbooks according to the Textbook Purchasing Platform and upload a screenshot of the transfer. Due to the possible price change, you will probably get part of your payment refunded at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year. 4. The textbook order this time is only for institution courses (Language, ideological and political education, physical education, and other public compulsory courses are not included). Students except freshmen in 2024-2025 academic year can choose their own textbooks by voluntary according to the courses they take in the next semester. Jin Yong’s Novels and Chinese Traditional Culture

The year 2024 is the 100th anniversary of Mr. Jin Yong’s birth, whose novels have always been deeply loved by readers. His works not only contain rich story-lines and vivid characters but also embody profound elements of traditional Chinese culture. To better understand the cultural connotations behind Jin Yong’s novels and the influence of these elements on contemporary society, Associate Professor Gu Dapeng from the Chinese Department of Zhejiang International Studies University has been invited to present the themed lecture.
