Cultivation of High-Value Patents—From the Perspective of Technology Transfer

High-value patents are not only legal protection for technological innovation but also the "hard currency" in the innovation ecosystem. This lecture, from the perspective of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, explores the value and significance of universities cultivating high-value patents. It introduces the concept of high-value patents and, through relevant cases, elaborates in detail on the key points, difficulties, and techniques of cultivating high-value patents, especially how to balance the publication of high-level papers, the layout of high-value patent portfolios, and entrepreneurship, and fully utilize patent layout to protect technological achievements and promote technology transfer.
