ICE Journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) was established in 1818. It is the eldest professional engineering organization in the world, with a history of nearly 200 years. It is still a non-profit industry-academic organization and the world's largest independent organization representing individual civil engineers. At present, the membership is in more than 100 countries, with more than 80,000 people.
ICE is also the only academic institution in the international civil engineering industry that has the dual functions of academic exchange and professional qualification certification. The ICE International Practice Qualification Certificate issued by ICE is the only internationally recognized certificate in the field of civil engineering.
