The American Physiological Society (APS), founded in 1887, is a non-profit organization dedicating to improving education, research and promotion in the field of physiology. The society publishes 14 professional journals and society newsletters, as well as physiology series and manuals, 13 of which are indexed by SCI. The database of American Physiological Society (APS) contains its journals and books on physiology, which cover most aspects of the physiological system, from cells and molecules to organs and systems.
14 journals that ordered from the database:
1.American Journal of Physiology-Cell Physiology
It dedicates to exploring innovative approaches to molecular and cellular physiology, focusing on the mechanisms of physiological control between high-level tissues by cellular and molecular methods.
2. American Journal of Physiology-Endocrinology and Metabolism
It publishes original research on the physiology of endocrine and metabolic systems, focusing on research of human or animal at the molecular, subcellular and cellular levels.
3.American Journal of Physiology- Liver Physiology
It mainly publishes research articles on the normal and abnormal functions of gastrointestinal tract, hepatobiliary system and pancreas, mainly covering their growth, development, digestion, secretion, absorption, metabolism, immunity and locomotion, as well as the neural, endocrine and circulatory control mechanisms that affects these organs.
