The database now includes nearly 100,000 species of living organisms in China, including plant groups (algae, bryophytes, ferns and seed plants), animal groups (insects, birds, fish, amphibians, mammals), algae (freshwater algae, seaweed), fungi (fungus, slime molds, oomycetes) and Marine organisms. Provide biological information such as authoritative name, taxonomic status, morphological characteristics, distribution, function and theoretical knowledge of biological species. Most species are illustrated with color photographs or hand-drawn sketches.
