To celebrate World Book Day 2024, the library held the Spring Fair on April 26th. During this event, students shared the books they love with each other, experienced martial arts characters from Jin Yong's novels, and purchased promoted products with co-brand logo. Various activities attracted many teachers and students to participate.

The book-sharing activity is located on the west lawn of the library. To answer the library's call to share books, readers on campus brought their beloved books which thus can be read again by others. Readers either transcribed the books they were interested in or sat down to read quietly, completing an unfamiliar but silent communication between readers and book owners.

In the library multi-functional room, various costumes, props, and accessories brought a unique experience of Jin Yong martial arts experiencing to readers. They warmly discussed the classic martial arts characters in movies and TV dramas, put on their favorite character costumes, discussed with each other to match the props that fit the character's temperament, and picked a good scene in the campus to take photos. During the role-playing, the readers had a deeper and clearer understanding of the martial arts world written by Jin Yong.

At the same time, the "Spring Bookbus" from Haining Library also gathered many readers. The new form attracted readers' curiosity, and the block-printing experience also attracted international students to try it.

Shenmin Fruit, Wuli Café, Library Café and Cheerzone Education Supermarket have offered a joint promotion. The "World Book Reading Day" exclusive co-branded items were also launched, attracting many students and teachers to buy.
