A number of domestic libraries and literature collection units jointly purchase a certain number of full ProQuest dissertations (PDF format) every year to provide network sharing, that is, all member libraries participating in the joint subscription can share all the academic dissertations ordered by the whole group. As of 2018.5, the database has collected about 700,000 foreign doctoral and master's degree theses.
