“If people don't read, it's like walking at night." In order to meet and explore the needs of teachers and students of the campus for foreign language books and discipline-related literature resources, and also to further deepen readers' understanding of how to use literature resources, and to improve the utilization rate of the library's resources, the library launched a five-day “Reading in Wonderland”— Wei Xue Fair in the October.

The event was officially launched on October 19. Based on the supported services and the diversified needs of readers, the event included four activities, a foreign books fair, a "Nobel Prize" book promotion, a lecture on the e-textbooks promotion and a information literacy lecture on "literature research". The activities were well attended by teachers and students.

Nearly 4,000 original foreign language books were selected for the fair. By the end of the event, the library had received a total of 849 books recommended by teachers and students, covering various disciplines such as biomedical science, engineering, computer science, economics, humanities and social sciences, etc., which fit the professional study and research of teachers and students on the campus, and we look forward to the next event.
