Introduction

The Web of Science database contains more than 12000 authoritative and influential academic journals in the world which can be traced back to 1900 and covering natural science, engineering, biomedical science, social science, art and humanities, etc. The core collection of Web of Science contains references cited in papers and makes a unique citation index according to the cited author, origin and publishing age.  

Our library ordered seven of these sub libraries: 

Journal Papers Citation Index: 

1. Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI extended) - 1900 to present 

2. Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) - 1998 to present 

3. Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) – 1998 to present 

 

Conference Papers Citation Index: 

  1. Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science (CPCI-S) - 1998 to present 

  1. Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH) - 1998 to present 

 

Chemistry Citation Index： 

  1. Current Chemical Reactions (CCR-EXPANDED) - 1986 to present 

（Including Institut National de la Propriete Industrielle - Chemical structure data, traced back to 1840） 

  1. Index Chemicus (IC) - 1993 to present 

 

Social Sciences Citation Index and Arts & Humanities Citation Index are two databases which mainly include humanities and social sciences. At present, the data that can be retrieved is from 1998 to present. 

Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science and Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities mainly include conference literatures of various disciplines. The data that can be retrieved is from 1998 to present. 

Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science and Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities mainly include conference literatures from various disciplines. The data that can be retrieved at present is from 1998 to now. 

Current Chemical Reactions and IndexChemicus are two databases specially designed to meet the needs of chemical and pharmaceutical researchers. All the newly discovered or improved organic synthesis methods in the world's core Chemical Journals and invention patents were collected to provide the most detailed chemical reaction reviews and detailed experimental details, as well as the chemical structures and related properties of compounds, including preparation and synthesis methods. Users can not only use bibliographic information retrieval, but also use structure search to retrieve reactant structural formula or its substructure, product structural formula or its substructure and reaction formula, and even use reaction conditions and compound parameters. 

 

Note: The database of this platform does not provide full-text papers, but only links to papers. Among them, 360 link to full text is the full-text link service provided by Qiushi academic search. Clicking the link will help to locate the purchased resources of Zhejiang University Library; for the resources not ordered, it will prompt whether literature delivery is needed.
