Recently, Mr. Shen Chi, editor-in-chief of Haining History Office, donated 6 volumes of books to our library for which he was the executive editor, including Haining Journal, Haining Industry Journal, and Haining Tide Journal.
After retirement, 74-year-old Shen Chi still decided to return to work in the Haining History Office, where he insisted on observing, investigating and writing, and served as executive editor of the Haining Industrial Journal, Haining Tide Journal and Haining Market Journal.
The Library Information Center presented a donation certificate to Mr. Shen Chi and also expressed the gratitude to Mr. Shen Chi for his generous donation. The books will be shelved as soon as possible after cataloguing and processing for readers to read inside the library.
