Notice on the Official Opening of the American Society of Clinical Oncology

The American Society of Clinical Oncology was founded in 1964. With a mission to improve the health of oncology patients, the society focuses on producing and providing quality resources in education, policy, clinical research, and clinical practice. The library subscribes to the ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) Journal Collection through the Ovid platform. The collection contains all five ASCO journals, including the Society's flagship journal, Journal of Clinical Oncology®, and its supplements. Details are as follows:

·          Journal of Clinical Oncology® The flagship peer-reviewed journal of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, covering clinical trials and clinical oncology. The journal is an important reading for experts in all disciplines and related specialties of oncology, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, urology, radiotherapy, and hematology.

·          JCO® Oncology Practice It helps readers stay abreast of the latest developments, breakthroughs, and difficulties in quality care with a focus on practical approaches. It covers a wide range of perspectives -- society, economics, clinical trials, health policy, ethics, health delivery and improvement, and more.

·          JCO® Global Oncology This open-source journal focuses on cancer care, research, and care issues unique to countries and regions with limited medical resources.

·          JCO® Clinical Cancer Informatics It applies to biomedical informatics methods, research and process reporting of tumor-related data, information, and images.

·          JCO® Precision Oncology Innovation, timely and original research, report, opinion and review in science and practice of precision oncology and genomics oriented personalized therapy.
